We’ve moved (but only two blocks)!

Announcing exciting changes!

As you may have heard, Robotics And Beyond has moved out of its space at 30 Bridge Street. After five years and the success of our programs, we have outgrown that room. Since our lease was up for renewal, we decided to take the next 4-6 months to focus on several important matters:

  1. identify our next permanent space, raise funding for renovations needed and move in
  2. prepare a long-term plan to strengthen and broaden our mission of education in fields of STEM and design
  3. obtain commitments for the outside funding necessary to carry out that plan

In the meantime, we are very happy to have a temporary home at the Makery Coworking at 20 Bank Street in New Milford. Makery Coworking is a space for collaboration and shared resources for freelance professionals and entrepreneurs. Due to limitations on space and available times, we can not offer our usual after-school STEM and design program this fall. We do plan to offer some classes, workshops, gaming and other events in the coming months – on weekends and weekday evenings and possibly tutoring on weekdays. Look for our September email update for a list of fall programs. Our website will also be sporting a new look soon, so check back often.

On your next visit to New Milford, or if you are near Bank Street, we welcome you to stop by Makery Coworking to see the wonderful space, the lower level meeting rooms and our workspace.

We greatly appreciate your past support of your students in our programs and the help of so many adult and student volunteers who have enabled Robotics And Beyond to have such tremendous impact. We are excited about our near and long-term plans and hope you will embrace our efforts.

Paul Chayka, Director, and the Robotics And Beyond staff
