Purchase a shopping bag, donate $1 to us!

Now that Connecticut stores are eliminating the use of plastic bags – and charging 10 cents if you need one – most of us are finding that we would prefer to purchase re-useable shopping bags. Two of our local grocery stores, Stop & Shop and Big Y, offer sturdy bags for purchase and will donate $1 of that purchase to a local charity, such as Robotics And Beyond!

The process for selecting Robotics And Beyond as your designated charity is similar for each store.

• Stop & Shop has two ways that your shopping bag purchase can earn money for us
  1. Purchase the Give Back bag and go to mystopandshopcause.bags4mycause.com/. You need to enter the code found on the giving tag on your new bag. Select Robotics And Beyond as your non-profit.
  2. When Robotics And Beyond is chosen as New Milford Stop & Shop’s non-profit of the month, $1 is automatically donated to us with bag purchase.
• Purchase a Big Y Cares bag and go to mybigycause.bags4mycause.com/ within 7 days of purchase. You need to enter the code found on the giving tag on your new bag. Select Robotics And Beyond as your non-profit.
